Valley Line Dispatch Wenatchee, WA

For plumbers · HVAC · electricians · roofers

You're on the job. Sam gets the phone.

When you can't pick up, Sam answers, sorts out emergencies, gets the name, number and address, quotes your trip fee, and books the job on your calendar.

Your number stays the same. Sam only picks up when you don't.

Voicemail is where jobs go to die

Most callers who hit voicemail don't leave a message. They call the next shop on Google. Plug in your numbers.

Guardrails

What Sam won't do

  • Quote repair prices. Only your trip fee, so your tech sets the real price on site.
  • Diagnose the problem or promise a quick fix.
  • Book outside your hours or your service area.
  • Talk anyone through a gas line or an electrical panel. Gas smell or smoke means get out and call 911.
  • Pretend to be human. Ask, and Sam says it's your virtual assistant.

Questions

Straight answers

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. Your line forwards to Sam when you don't answer, when you're on another call, or after hours. You pick which.

Will customers know it's not a person?

Sam sounds natural and keeps it short. If someone asks, Sam tells them it's your virtual assistant and keeps getting them booked.

What counts as one of the 3 jobs?

An appointment Sam books from a call you would've missed, logged and put on your calendar. Messages and test calls don't count.

What about real emergencies?

Sam asks right away. Emergencies get the soonest slot and a flagged alert, or a live transfer to your on-call number if you want. For gas, smoke or sparking, Sam tells the caller to get out and call 911 first.

Are calls recorded?

Yes. Washington requires everyone on a call to agree to recording, so Sam says so up front. You approve the greeting before it goes live.

Which plan do I need?

If most of the calls you miss come at night or on weekends, start with After-Hours. If you miss calls during the day too, or want emergencies patched straight to your cell, go Full-Time. You can switch anytime.

How long does setup take?

About an hour. We set up forwarding, connect your calendar, and make a few test calls together.

Hear it for yourself

Call Sam. Pretend your pipe just burst.

Try to stump it. Ask for a price, say you smell gas, ask if it's a robot.

Text alerts & privacy

Who gets texts: Valley Line Dispatch sends automated text alerts only to contractors who signed up for our service, and only to the mobile numbers the business owner lists on their signed service agreement, where they check a box to agree to receive alerts. Alerts cover calls to their business: new bookings, messages, and emergencies. We never text consumers and never send marketing.

Frequency and charges: message frequency varies with call volume. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not required to buy the service.

Privacy: caller details (name, phone, address, and the reason for the call) are used only to deliver the service to the contractor the call was for. We do not sell or share personal information, and mobile numbers and text opt-in consent are never shared with third parties for marketing. Contractors can ask for a copy or deletion of their data at any time.
